No Apologies



I don't know about you, but I tend to nit pick my life at times.

"My house is too messy!"

"I need to be more organized!"

"I have way too much stuff!"

"I'm getting fat!"

YADA YADA YADA........

Sometimes I am my own worst enemy.

But I am hoping that this will change. I decided I wanted to try and say "NO More Apologies"....

This is who I am- like it or not!

I AM the girl who lets the house work get a little out of control.

I am NOT organized.

I LOVE stuff!

I am NOT a bean poll- I AM curvy!

I AM that girl who can be too sensitive.

I'd RATHER stay home and watch TV with my husband, than go out to a over priced fancy restaurant.

My idea of FUN is renting a movie, get togethers with friends or reading a book, NOT going out, getting shitfaced, and not remembering a thing the next day...

I make MISTAKES.

I can be OBSESSIVE over things.


Stop apologizing for being yourself! That is what makes you unique and special! :) :)

Thankful.....

It is so easy to take for granite the wonderful things that bless our lives. You get so sidetracked with the silly or mundane things that you forget just how lucky you really are.

There are so many things in my life to be thankful for.....

I'm so thankful for my husband. He makes me feel that I can be and do anything that I want to. There really is no one like him!



My parents for all the love and support they have given me over the years (even the times that I really wasn't THAT lovable!)




Amazing friends- From long-lasting friendships to the very brief, I have taken things from everyone of you.





The in-laws! I have married into a very loving and wonderful family!




Extended family :)



Our fur babies!!! They make us laugh until we cry (sometimes the tears are out of frustration though- Gracie chews EVERYTHING!) But they are so worth it! They love unconditionally and bring so much happiness that they are part of our family.

My job- there are times when I absolutely love it, and other times you have to drag me kicking and screaming! It has pushed me far out of my comfort zone, challenged me, and encouraged change and growth in myself.

I heard this song on a video game commercial and became hooked! It's an absolutely beautiful song!



2. Pause- Pitbull

Since my cousins bachelorette party, I have been addicted to any and every Pitbull song. I feel so bad for Aaron- he HATES that type of music!



3. Adele

She is amazing! Beautiful and talented. The song "Someone Like You" almost brings me to tears every time.

Steve Jobs: RIP



Just found out he passed away today. :( He was a gifted man and an inspiration to us all.

Tough Questions....

I Googled "Questions to ask yourself before you have children". I have been so obsessed with this topic for awhile now, and more often than not, I get caught up in the daydream of having one. A few of my close friends have already had babies and they are absolutely gorgeous and wonderful. They're lucky though- their babies sleep through the night, hardly fuss, social, I hate to say "good" babies, but they are! So I'm trying to get out of the whole fantasy world of it and come back to reality.

So if you are in a similar situation as I am, this might be helpful!



~ Are you ready to be selfless? What about your partner?

~ Are we financially ready?

~ Are we ready for life to get a little more complicated?

~ Are you ready to surrender control over your body?

~ Have we experienced everything we wanted to or are we okay without experiencing it for the next 18 years?

~ Considered multiples, disabilities? etc.

~ Career- Are we secure? Will there need to be changes?

~ Do we both agree on how to raise the child and respect each other as parents?

~ Have you ever considered the reasons for having a child?

~ If we found out we were pregnant next month, what would we think?  :) or AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!

Favorite Things Wednesday!

This Summer I have been having a serious case of the baby fever! I try really hard to ignore it, but sometimes it takes over me. I have been constantly watching baby shows, reading baby blogs, and purchasing baby books/magazines (I know some of you probably think I am crazy, but I love reading about it!).

I wanted to share a few of thing my favorite things that have been feeding my extreme case of baby fever...

1. The Art Of Making A Baby Blog


I absolutely LOVE this blog! It has become a guilty pleasure and I check it everyday! (Kind of like Facebook!)

2. YouTube Surprise Pregnancy announcements. Some of these are so touching, others are absolutely hilarious!



I was laughing so hard- I had tears in my eyes! It was priceless!

3. Fit Pregnancy Magazine- Just started reading this magazine and really like it!


4.  The Lazy Girl's Guide to a Blissful Pregnancy. Found this gem at Shopper's Drug Mart. It's awesome!
