The "Pre-Baby" Bucket List

I have to be honest, I've been having a slight case of  "baby fever" recently (I blame all my friends who've had babies lately)! So when I stumbled upon the "pre-baby" bucket list on-line, I knew we had to come up with our own. Aaron thought it was brilliant!!

Now, as much as I would love to have a cute little bundle of joy RIGHT NOW I always come back to this- I am not ready to not be selfish yet! There are certain things I am not willing to give up just yet- like sleeping in or buying books by the dozen! I want to spend as much time as I possibly can with Aaron before we make this duo into a trio!

Note:

If little baby Fleming decides to show up before we can complete this list- it is OK!!! Just thought I would mention this before I get alot of comments that I over-plan my life and to let nature take it's course, yada, yada, yada....

So here it is!!! Our "Pre-Baby" Bucket List:

Travel:
1. Go to Orlando Universal Studios- Halloween Horror Night.
2. Travel first class
3. Go to Portland for the weekend
4. Go to Edmonton
5. Go to New York and see Comic-Con (yeah we're nerds- deal with it!)

Domestic Stuff
6. Learn how to cook 5 simple meals (if you know me- this is HUGE!!)
7. Finish decluttering the house
8. Learn how to use the slow cooker (I know- it's pathetic)
9. Possibly another car?!?!?

  1. I love your blog - and think you are being realistic and sensible about starting a family - yes, it's probably the most rewarding thing you will ever do - BUT you SHOULD be ready and have done all those things you dreamed about first. Cuz when my curly haired grandbaby gets here - your life will be consumed with him/her - and rightly so. I especially liked the part about doing something nice for your parents!!!

  2. You're a beautiful, intelligent, sensitive, and sensible young wowan who I am very proud to call my niece. Follow your dreams Meg, be selfish and don't feel guilty taking the time to do all the things you want to do - enjoy being a couple. When the time arrives for baby Fleming you will shine... love you
